The new Environmental/Eco committee is up and running at Canon Burrows

Canon Burrows Primary School held its first meeting of the 2015/16 Environmental /Eco committee in October. The whole school is represented at meetings by pupils from classes 1 to 6. Every child spoke of their commitment to the environment and told the committee of their plans to help the environment.

  • Jayden wants to help prevent pollution from spoiling the world.
  • Ella is particularly interested in recycling.
  • The committee’s plans include being ‘Green Ambassadors’ and spreading the word about how it is everyone’s responsibility to care for the planet.

To show their commitment the green ambassadors all left the meeting wearing their brilliant new Green ambassadors badges.
