Many hands make light work?

To catch up on planting and looking after the school garden after a very wet winter and early spring ALL of class 2 and also the Head Teacher came out to help in the school garden. It was a huge work party and we did get lots done! Potatoes, peas, beans, carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber were all planted. The willow house was pruned. Everything was watered. Now all we have to do is hope the slugs don’t eat everything! Having the whole class was quite chaotic, but it did result the following week in far more volunteers for gardening than usual. Hurray! Success!
